Welcome to AMU 2.00!
*******************
* IMPORTANT! *
*******************
I will be on vacation for the first two weeks of July 1995. As
such, I will not be available to answer any netmail or generate
registration keyfiles for those two weeks. Please keep this in
mind when registering or sending netmail at that time.
*******************************************************************************
You should read the documentation (AMU.DOC) and especially the license
and disclaimer before using this software. Your use of AMU is your
agreement with this license and disclaimer, and your release of the author
from any form of liability or litigation.
AMU 2.00 is distributed in two files: AMU200D.ZIP for the DOS version and
AMU200P.ZIP for the OS/2 version.
To install AMU, simply run the INSTALL.EXE program from the DOS package or
INSTALL2.EXE from the OS/2 package. This will unpack the necessary files
to your hard drive. This archive was compressed using Pkzip 2.04g with
AV verification. After you unzipped this package, you should have seen:
Authentic files verified! # MJO229
DAVID HICKEY
If you do not see this, the files may have been damaged or tampered
with, and you should pick up a new copy from my system. I am in the
FidoNet nodelist as 1:261/1108, and my BBS numbers are 1-410-974-9305
and 1-410-269-5117. This is a major upgrade and represents over eleven
months of very hard work by myself and the Beta team. Please take the
time to read the WHATSNEW.200 file if you are upgrading from a previous
version, or to read the documentation if you are a new AMU user. If you
like AMU, please register to show your support for the shareware concept
and to ensure further development of AMU.
